For nearly three decades, Genotypic Technology has served the scientific, clinical and research communities as a genomics services company. Over that time its product division grew into a business of its own. That division has now been hived off as Genstride Technologies, a subsidiary of Genotypic.
Genstride sells cutting-edge genomics products: those developed by Genotypic, and those from global leaders including ONT, NEB and many more. We handle commercialization, market development, technical support and distribution. The split is simple. Genotypic delivers genomics services. GenStride delivers genomics products.
For now, Genstride works as a sub-distributor of Genotypic. We're moving towards partnering with these brands directly under the Genstride name, and we'll tell you as that happens.
Your contacts stay the same.
We want to be among the most trusted genomics products and solutions companies, enabling wider adoption of genomics across research, healthcare, agriculture and industry. Innovation matters only when it reaches the people who can use it.
One place for products developed in-house and from carefully selected global partners.

Portable, one flow cell
Benchtop, up to five MinION or Flongle flow cells
PromethION-scale output for every lab
High-throughput, up to 24 flow cells
Developed by Genotypic. Enrich the targets you care about, sequence them on the platform you already use, and analyse the data on hardware built for the job. All of it works with Oxford Nanopore, Illumina, Thermo Fisher and PacBio.
Proprietary targeted enrichment panels for viruses, microbiomes, antimicrobial resistance and human genetics.
GUI-based NGS analysis software. Go from raw reads to quality, coverage and variant reports with a few clicks, no command line.
Compute systems with pre-installed NGS tools, from portable to server, for live base calling, assembly and alignment.
Rapid, scalable and cost-effective sequencing of diverse targets, with high sensitivity and specificity. Kits are customizable and suit all major NGS platforms.
Every kit comes in 50, 100, 500 and 1000 reaction packs. Need a pathogen we don't list? We build custom kits.
Bacterial and fungal community profiling for microbiome and environmental studies.
Resistance markers in Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Salmonella typhimurium.
High-specificity primers for immunogenetics, transplant matching and disease association.
Built from two decades of working with scientists, Commander closes the gap between biology and bioinformatics. It suits small labs and research facilities, and includes specialised viral genome tools for COVID-19 and infectious disease surveillance, epidemiology and outbreak response.
Raw reads to results in one streamlined path.
Automates the essential preprocessing.
Coverage, mutations and variants, tailored to your research.
Live base calling for MinION and PromethION users, high-accuracy base calling for SNP and methylation work, faster alignment and assembly, pre-installed tools, and hands-on training and support.
GTGPU + Commander is the combination for high-speed NGS analysis: hardware and software that already work together.
Portable GPU compute for live base calling and analysis of small bacterial and viral genomes
Large fungal, archaeal, plant and human genomes, multi-adaptive sampling, whole genome sequencing
Insect, large plant and human genomes up to 5-8 Gb, RAID support, high-speed parallel processing
